ABOUT THIS GALLERY

This is a compilation of my feeble attempts at 3D artwork, perhaps with some inking or coloring that turns out half-decent, my written stories, and my purchased commissions and gift art of my City of Heroes / Villains characters, all done by other artists.

Buxom: \ˈbək-səm\ adj "vigorously or healthily plump; specifically : full-bosomed"

We need more buxom-ness in this world.

I don't mean artificially inflated torpedo-boobs on otherwise rail-thin models. I mean CURVES. I'm talking bodies that have a healthy roundness and softness to them as they were meant to.

To that end...I'd like to feature a few folks I've found on DA that embody the word "buxom" in the finest sense.

I guess if I have any thoughts, I find it sad that 50 scant years ago, ladies clamored to have curves like Marilyn Monroe, Jane Russell, or Jayne Mansfield. Commercials on the radio were often heard proclaiming that women were "getting too thin and unattractive", and advertising drinks to help women gain weight and keep their figure during the war-time shortage. It was a time of healthier, more natural body images, and I think women showed it in their over-all attitude and appearance. ...and that alone speaks volumes. :blowkiss:

Honestly, the only modern ladies I can think of are on the Judgment of Paris website. It's the modern styles they're modeling, so it's not quite as glamorous as the Silver Screen Sirens: [link] My Favorite clothing model has been Kate Dillon: [link]
